Fitzrovia office development receives Planning Permission

Camden Council have granted Planning Permission for the redevelopment of 44-46 Whitfield Street into a 11,000 sq.ft office development. The building is located in Fitzrovia in Central London and is within the Charlotte Street Conservation Area.

The development includes the demolition of the existing 1980's facade and the introduction of large bay windows in curtain wall glazing with bronzed feature cappings and art print spandrel panels.

The scheme also has a new roof extension with oversized dark metal tiles and sloping rooflights.

The rear of the building has been designed to create a series of roof terraces accessed from the top three floors of the office suites. The development is due to start in September 2014.
