Brimelow McSweeney Architects have gained Planning Permission for our clients Legal and General on the redevelopment of Dudley House located on the corner of the Strand and Southampton Street and opposite the Savoy Hotel in Central London in November 2012.
The scheme consists of the reconfiguration of 6,000sq.ft retail and restaurant space at ground floor with 15 new luxury apartments above. The Planning Permission includes a large roof extension for new penthouse apartments and new external terrace spaces. The existing structure is a series of three historic buildings running along the length of Southampton Street leading to Covent Garden piazza with complex changes in level between the individual buildings.
