Westminster City Council have granted Planning Approval for a new residential development on Bayswater Road overlooking Kensington Gardens and adjacent to Kensington Palace.
The scheme is the redevelopment of the Westland Hotel site on the Bayswater Road in central London into 15 new luxury apartments.
The project involves the partial facade retention of a Victorian brick building at No.6 Palace Court with a complete new build 8 storey building at No.154 Bayswater Road.
The site is in a highly sensitive location with views from both Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens.
